I offered this box at Christmas to a true fan of the film... which is very, very happy with my choice. The box is very beautiful and the goodies were the joy of his owner :) A reference to science fiction with a unique atmosphere. The history (P. K. Dick), music (Vangélis) director (R. Scott), The sets (Inspired by Moebius), the actors... This edition integrating the flying car of Deckard. A New Hope, the Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, these 3 unforgettable films that we have imbued with dreaming, and madness intergalactic! How to thank George Lucas and his collaborators have provided us with the pure, the true, the genuine, Star Wars, the gold bar!!! Bad language will find it an umpteenth coup, but there is no obligation for those who have already bought the 3 films separately to redeem them in the box! Although... there's even a bonus DVD damn interesting. What we realize is the pressure is absolutely immense that suffered by George Lucas to convince the producers to let out his first opus. But it is thanks to the devotion of his whole team, with Alec Guinness who gave the example. This bonus DVD is simply indispensable to the appreciation of each film, he made us understand every detail of the evolution of the project Star Wars, of the first scripts, to the first castings, the first sketch to the first tests of costumes. This is THE documentary that should accompany this legend of world cinema. To say frankly, this is the DVD that I pull out in first of the box. I'm happy watching the 3 movies, but this bonus is a real gold mine. I don't think I have to use the Force to convince you that this box set is ESSENTIAL!!! There's the humor, the characters colourful, and a boy dopey/brave, a daughter explosive, and a story a little crazy :-) There's no really bad guy in this story... just a dad a little stressed out! The little ones loved it and have reviewed it several times :-) Very nice story, great actors, beautiful scenery, to see and review. My son has loved it for 11 years. I recommendPurchased to make fun of a friend who since has left me to fall but not serious I am amused to watch them with my girls. Fast delivery and without problems.. On the quality of the film nothing to say.... but on the quality of the case... after 3 reference, amazon is unable to send me a good steelbook, scratches, case down, opened package.... I thought this movie was better then lack of action to my taste, yet Luc Besson is usually good and we talked about this film in the media, hence my purchase. Not a lot of information on the sound track of the Blu ray 2D. Amazon speaks of a sound track D. D. 5. 1. on leBlu ray simple (2D). But we know that this is not the strong point of Amazon to give explanations reliable on the sound tracks. For this edition, I can confirm that the two versions, whether they are 3D or 2D, are encoded in DTS HD MA 7. 1 French and English. The comments are very many on this Blu-ray, the latest information on the audio tracks goes back to many pages back and I think it was interesting to be reminded. Alright already, I'm a fan of Matthew McConaughey since "live on Edtv" well, that given 2-3 years before in Contact and Amistad; Anne Hathaway since her film debut, and then so great in the role of the White Queen, and recently, Jessica Chastain, discovered by chance on Zero Dark Thirty. For Interstellar I was expecting a big slap, because a lot of people in my circle of friends I had advised, I was only hearing positive things. The film itself is very good, visually the space and the Planets (2) are fairly minimalist, I do not expect it to be a decoration to the Avatar, but I was a little disappointed on this side. In the same kind of movie, I much prefer Sunshine, even if there is more inconsistency as a scientist in the film by Danny Boyle that in Interstellar, although I'm not an expert on M Theory, or the law of universal attraction; I'm just a fan of science-fiction. My only regret about this film is the death of the king. I mean, the theme of death is already sufficiently present in the film with the death of the parents of Cinderella, so why add more? Seriously, this film is aimed at children, so let us stop their plumb the moral by adding passages sad! It is one of the reasons why I prefer the cartoon.
